They have turned it around over the past couple of weeks though, following up a 24-20 win against Michigan with a 31-3 blowout of Memphis.

Houston have lost two of their last three games, leaving them 5-4 and on the brink of missing the playoffs.
The Gamblers started the season with a 29-13 loss to Michigan, and then suffered a 38-31 defeat at the hands of New Orleans.
They finally notched their first win in Week 3 as they downed Memphis 30-26, and that sparked a great run that propelled them into the playoff race.
Houston destroyed Philadelphia in a 41-16 victory, and then downed defending champions Birmingham, 27-20, before beating New Jersey 16-10.
The Gamblers’ streak was halted a by a surprise 23-20 defeat to Memphis, but they bounced back immediately with a 20-19 win against Pittsburgh.
However their playoff hopes took a huge hit with last weekend’s 38-15 defeat to Birmingham, and that means they must win this game.
