Memphis go into this game having already been eliminate from playoff contention thanks to consecutive defeats.
The Showboats opened the season with an 18-12 win in Houston, but a late collapse condemned them to a 20-19 defeat at home to San Antonio, and they have not been able to bounce back.
They spent the next two weeks heading out on the road and were beaten 33-14 in Birmingham and 32-17 at St Louis.
Memphis then returned home for back-to-back games, losing 35-18 to Michigan and 39-21 to Birmingham.
The Showboats’ slump then reached six games last weekend, as they were beaten 47-23 at previously winless Arlington.
Michigan Panthers Form
Michigan enter this game having already secured a playoff place with five wins in their first seven games.
The Panthers struggled for consistency over the first four weeks of the season as they went 2-2.
They failed to build on an 18-16 win over St Louis as they lost 20-13 to Birmingham, and were then unable to back up a 34-20 win against Houston as they were beaten 19-9 in San Antonio.
Michigan bounced back a week later to win 35-18 in Memphis, and finally strung together wins by beating Arlington 28-27 at home.
The Panthers then made it three wins in a row last weekend as they went out on the road to beat DC 22-9.
Verdict
Michigan won by double digits when the teams met last month, and we expect more of the same here.
The Panthers are in good form, while Memphis have lost six straight and are giving up a ton of points.
