Memphis head to Birmingham still seeking their first win of the 2025 season, having now lost each of their first four games.
The Showboats went just 2-8 during the UFL’s inaugural season, so it is no surprise to see them struggling this time around.
They opened up the season at home to Michigan and suffered a 26-12 defeat at the hands of the Panthers.
Memphis then dropped their home opener against the DC Defenders, 17-12, before returning home for an 18-17 loss to Houston.
The Showboats fell to 0-4 last weekend, as they were beaten by Michigan for the second time this season, this time losing 27-9 at Ford Field.
Birmingham Stallions Form
Birmingham have rebounded from the season-opening defeat with a run of three consecutive victories.
The Stallions have won three straight spring football titles, but their quest for a fourth in a row got off to a disappointing start.
They opened up on the road in DC and fell to a surprise 18-11 defeat to the Defenders.
Birmingham rebounded quickly though, backing up a 21-12 win at Michigan with a 10-9 victory over Arlington in their home opener.
The Stallions then made it three-in-a-row last weekend, as they visited Houston to take down the Roughnecks, 23-16.
Verdict
Birmingham have their sights set on another championship, while Memphis are simply searching for a first win.
The Stallions have dominated the Showboats over the past couple of years, and we expect that trend to continue here.
