Houston Roughnecks Form
Houston enter this game with the back-to-back USFL champions having lost six of their seven games to miss out on the playoffs.
The Roughnecks, who struggled as the Gamblers in the USFL, lost their first three games in the UFL.
They were beaten 18-12 at Memphis, before heading out on the road for a 23-18 defeat at DC and a 34-20 loss at Michigan.
Houston finally got off the mark in Week 4 with a 17-9 victory over Arlington, but they soon returned to losing ways as they were beaten 32-9 by Birmingham.
The Roughnecks then lost 22-8 in St Louis, before returning home for a 15-12 defeat at the hands of San Antonio.
Birmingham Stallions Form
Birmingham remain the only unbeaten team in the UFL, having won all eight of their games to secure a trip to the playoffs.
The Stallions, who won back-to-back USFL titles, opened the season with a 27-14 victory at 2023 XFL champions Arlington.
They backed that up with a 20-13 win at Michigan, before marking their home opener with a 33-14 success against Memphis.
Birmingham then beat DC 20-18 at home thanks to a late fightback, before going out on the road to down Houston 32-9 and Memphis 39-21.
The Stallions then improved their record to 8-0 last weekend as they downed St Louis at home, 30-26.
Verdict
Birmingham's dominance of spring football is showing no signs of slowing down in the UFL.
They are backed to once again power past a Houston team who continue to get very little from the offense.
