LA Galaxy vs Vancouver Preview & Picks - Galaxy backed to secure yet another home win in the MLS

LA Galaxy were not good enough in their last outing as they slipped to a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Portland Timbers. 

Vancouver battled to a 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo in their last game as they made it four without defeat in the league. 

Galaxy have won three of their last 10 against their opponents, with Vancouver winning five times and two games ending as draws. 

LA Galaxy may have slipped to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Portland in midweek, but this has done little to take the shine off what has been an excellent campaign so far. 

16 wins have come alongside seven draws and seven defeats, with the 55 points they have picked up enough to see them move to the top of the Western Conference. While they currently sit at the summit, they know LAFC are six points behind them with two games in hand, meaning they can take nothing for granted. 

Continually winning is vital if Galaxy are to finish at the top this term, and they have to extend their brilliant home run this weekend if they are to tighten their grip on top-spot. 

Vancouver have impressed of late, with the side boasting a four-game unbeaten run in the league. 

Their 1-1 draw with Houston Dynamo at the weekend helped to move them onto 46 points, meaning they are only nine behind Galaxy at the top. While they sit in sixth, the Whitecaps will have aspirations of climbing the standings further. 

However, a trip to face Galaxy is arguably the toughest test in either Conferences right now. With this in mind, we are backing against Vancouver extending their impressive run.
