The Jets lost three of their first four games of the campaign, but enjoyed a flurry in late October to get back to .500.
They snapped a two-game losing sequence with a 3-2 overtime win in Edmonton, and then returned home to down St Louis 4-2.
Winnipeg then made it three wins in a row when they went back out on the road and beat Detroit 4-1.
The Jets were unable to keep that winning run going though, losing via a shootout in Montreal before suffering a 3-2 overtime defeat at home to the New York Rangers.

Vegas come into this matchup having made an outstanding start to the season, winning nine of their first 10 games.
The Golden Knights began their defence of the NHL crown with three consecutive 4-1 wins, beating Seattle, San Jose and Anaheim.
They then edged Dallas via a shootout, before heading out on the road to record 5-3 wins over Winnipeg and Chicago.
Vegas’ streak then hit seven games with a 3-2 victory over Philadelphia, but they failed to make it eight-in-a-row as they lost 4-3 in overtime to Chicago.
The Golden Knights bounced back swiftly though, recording shootout wins over both Los Angeles and Montreal.
