Vegas Golden Knights at Toronto Maple Leafs Preview & Picks

Will Toronto extend their good recent run with a victory over Vegas?

Check back here on Wednesday morning for our free Vegas Golden Knights at Toronto Maple Leafs.

Head To Head

  • Toronto Maple Leafs lead the all-time series 7-4-1
  • Vegas Golden Knights won 6-2 when the two teams last met on February 27

Vegas Golden Knights Form

Vegas begin this five-game road trip looking to bounce back from a home defeat that dropped them to 11-5-2.

The Golden Knights blew hot and cold during the first couple of weeks of the season, but enjoyed a good run between late October and early November as they went on a 5-1 run.

That sequence was brought to a halt by a 4-3 overtime defeat in Seattle, and they then lost 5-2 when they returned home to face Carolina.

Vegas rallied during their next two games on the road, beating the Ducks 3-2 in Anaheim before heading to Utah for a 4-2 victory.

The Golden Knights failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they were beaten 5-2 at home by Washington on Sunday.

Toronto Maple Leafs Form

Toronto enter this matchup on a good run of form, having won five of their last six games to improve to 11-6-2.

The Maple Leafs split their first 12 games of the season, but have enjoyed improved form since the 4-0 victory at home to Boston on November 5.

They backed that up over the next two home games as they then beat Detroit 3-1 and Montreal 4-1, only to end that run of home games with a 3-0 loss to Ottawa.

Toronto have not lost since last Tuesday’s game with the Senators, although they were made to work for their two wins.

The Maple Leafs rebounded with a 4-3 overtime win in Washington, and then repeated that outcome as they returned home to beat Edmonton.
