Vegas Golden Knights at Tampa Bay Lightning Preview & Picks

Will Tampa Bay continue their perfect start to the 2024/25 season?

Check back here on Thursday morning for our free Vegas Golden Knights at Tampa Bay Lightning tips.

Head To Head

  • Vegas Golden Knights lead the all-time series 7-5
  • Tampa Bay Lightning won 5-3 when the two teams last met in March 2024

Vegas Golden Knights Form

Vegas will look to rebound from their first defeat of the season as they continued this three-game roadtrip.

The Golden Knights kicked off the season with three consecutive games at home and took full advantage of that in a 3-0 start.

They opened up with an 8-4 victory over Colorado, before edging St Louis in a seven-goal showdown, 4-3.

Vegas then continued their perfect start with a 3-1 victory over Anaheim, but they failed to make it four-in-a-row in their first road game of the season.

The Golden Knights travelled across the country to take on Washington and suffered a 4-2 defeat on Tuesday night.

Tampa Bay Lightning Form

Tampa Bay enter this matchup looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season, which has seen them win both of their games so far.

The Lightning won only one of their five preseason games, but have had few issues recording wins since the real business began.

They opened the season on the road with a visit to Carolina, and they took down the Hurricanes in a 4-1 victory.

Tampa Bay were then scheduled to host Carolina for their second outing of the 2024/25 season, but that game was postponed due to the hurricane that hit the area.

The Lightning finally returned to action on Tuesday, and they made up for lost time as they marked their home opener with a 4-1 win over Vancouver.
