The Devils have been a solid pick on the home ice in recent months, while Vegas arrive in poor form and have struggled on the road.

Vegas head to New Jersey on a four-game losing skid, having lost the first two games of this roadtrip.

The Golden Knights lost four straight games in the middle of January, before finally stopping the rot with a 4-2 victory in St Louis.

They failed to build on that as they were beaten 4-3 in Dallas, but they did rebound quickly to down Florida at home, 4-1.

Vegas have not won since though, wrapping up a spell at home with overtime defeats to Dallas, 4-3, and Columbus, 2-1.

The Golden Knights then travelled to New York for the first two games of this trip, losing 4-2 to the Rangers and 2-1 to the Islanders.

New Jersey Devils Form

New Jersey have struggled to string together wins in recent days, but they are in decent form with four wins in their last six games.

The Devils also endured a rough run during the middle of January, losing four consecutive games.

They stopped the skid with a 5-1 win over Boston, and then backed that up with a 4-3 overtime success in Montreal.

New Jersey failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 4-2 in Philadelphia, but they did immediately avenge that loss with a 5-0 win over the Flyers at home.

The Devils then lost 4-3 in Buffalo, only to again issue a swift response to a loss with a shootout success in Pittsburgh.

New Jersey have tended to do their best work on the home ice in recent months, while out-of-form Vegas do not trouble well.

Therefore we like the Devils’ chances of coming out on top in this one.
