Vegas rallied in Minnesota though, levelling the series with a 4-3 overtime win, and they now hold a 3-2 lead after beating the Wild in overtime at home, 3-2.
The Golden Knights secured their playoff place by finishing atop the Pacific Division with a 50-22-10 regular-season record.

Minnesota return home having surrendered the series lead with back-to-back defeats to Vegas.
The Wild opened their playoff campaign on the road, where they rebounded from a 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights with a 5-2 victory.

Minnesota were beaten 4-3 in overtime at home, before heading back to Vegas for a 3-2 overtime loss that has left them just one defeat away from elimination.
The Wild claimed their place in the postseason by putting together a 45-30-7 record to finish fourth in the Central Division.
Verdict
Vegas are back on top, and even though they are on the road for Game 6, we like their chances of clinching.
The Golden Knights have won on four of their last five visits to the Xcel Energy Center.
