Vegas Golden Knights Form

Vegas went into Thursday night’s game in St Louis looking to avoid a seventh loss in eight games and a fifth consecutive defeat.

The Golden Knights kicked off 2025 with three straight victories, but have seen their form cool off considerably since then.

They dropped back-to-back home games against New York teams, losing 4-0 to the Islanders and 2-1 to the Rangers, before briefly rallying with a 4-1 win over Minnesota.

Vegas failed to build on that as they lost three straight on the road, losing 5-3 in Nashville, 3-2 in Carolina and 5-3 in Chicago.

The Golden Knights then returned home for a shootout defeat at the hands of Vegas.

Dallas Stars Form

Dallas started 2025 with a seven-game win streak, but have seen their form cool off over the past couple of weeks.

The Stars’ streak was ended by a 3-2 defeat in Ottawa, only for them to rebound with a 4-1 victory in Toronto.

They failed to build on that though, as they followed up a 3-1 home defeat to Montreal with a 6-3 loss when they visited Colorado.

Dallas avoided a third straight loss as they returned home to down Detroit 4-1, but their joy was short-lived.

The Stars suffered their fourth defeat in six games on Tuesday night as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Carolina.
