Vegas Golden Knights at Colorado Avalanche Preview & Picks

Can Colorado win their penultimate home game of the regular season?

Check back here on Tuesday morning for Vegas Golden Knights at Colorado Avalanche tips.

Head To Head

  • Colorado Avalanche lead the all-time series 17-15-2
  • Colorado Avalanche won 2-1 when the two teams last met on November 27

Vegas Golden Knights Form

Vegas head to Colorado having rebounded from a couple of home defeats with back-to-back victories on this road trip.

The Golden Knights enjoyed a good run in late March as they won their final six games of the month, starting with a 5-1 blowout of Boston.

They then beat Detroit 6-3 and Tampa Bay 4-2, before heading out on the road to down Minnesota 5-1, Chicago 5-3 and Nashville 3-1.

Vegas’ run was brought to a shuddering halt when they returned home, as they lost 3-2 to Edmonton and 4-0 to Winnipeg, but they have got back on track on the road.

The Golden Knights edged Winnipeg in overtime, 3-2, before moving on to Vancouver to beat the Canucks 3-2.

Colorado Avalanche Form

Colorado enter this matchup on the back of their third defeat in their previous four games.

Just like their opponents on Tuesday, the Avalanche also enjoyed a good run in the second half of March as they won four straight.

They 5-1 in Ottawa and 5-4 at Montreal, before heading back home for a 5-2 victory over Detroit and a 4-0 shutout of Los Angeles.

Colorado’s streak was then ended by a 2-1 loss to St Louis, and that was followed by a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Calgary.

The Avalanche rebounded on the road to win 3-2 in Chicago and 7-3 in Columbus, but they failed to make it three-in-a-row over the weekend as they lost 5-4 in St Louis.
