Head To Head

  • Carolina Hurricanes lead the all-time series 8-5
  • Carolina Hurricanes won 5-2 when the two teams last met on November 11

Vegas Golden Knights Form

Vegas head to Carolina looking to kick-start a good run of form after losing for the third time in four games last time out.

The Golden Knights ended 2024 with a 3-2 defeat to Montreal, but bounced back to make a strong start to 2025.

They downed Philadelphia 5-2 and Buffalo 3-1 at home, before heading out on the road to take down San Jose, 4-2.

Vegas failed to keep that run going though as they lost 4-0 to the New York Islanders and 2-1 to the New York Rangers at home.

The Golden Knights avoided a third straight defeat, beating Minnesota 4-1, but they were unable to follow that up as they then lost 5-3 in Nashville.

Carolina Hurricanes Form

Carolina return home looking to bounce back from the defeat in Buffalo, which was their fourth in their last seven games.

The Hurricanes kicked off 2025 with a 3-1 victory at Florida, but were unable to build on that as they were shut out in a 4-0 home defeat to Minnesota.

They rallied to beat Pittsburgh 4-3 in overtime, only to again fail to follow up a victory as they were beaten 3-2 in Tampa Bay.

Carolina’s response was to win back-to-back games at home, as they took down Toronto, 6-3, and Vancouver, 3-0.

The Hurricanes have not won since though, losing 3-2 in overtime against Anaheim before heading to Buffalo for a 4-2 defeat to the Sabres.
