Toronto Maple Leafs Form

Toronto head to Vegas looking to bounce back from a shootout defeat that ended their five-game win streak.

The Maple Leafs began February with a three-game win streak on the road, only to see that run end with a 2-1 defeat in Vancouver.

They then returned home briefly to beat Carolina 6-3, before heading back out on the road to win four straight games on their travels.

Toronto won 5-2 in Chicago, 5-4 in overtime in Boston, 3-2 at the New York Rangers, and 6-5 in overtime in Pittsburgh.

The Maple Leafs failed to keep that run going at home though, as they lost via a shootout when they hosted San Jose on Monday night.

Vegas Golden Knights Form

Vegas go into this matchup aiming to continue a good run of form that has seen them win five of their previous six games.

The Golden Knights lost four straight games between late January and early February, but turned things around before the mid-season break.

They stopped the losing run with a 3-1 win at the New Jersey Devils, before heading to Boston to take down the Bruins, 4-3.

Vegas then returned from the break with a 3-1 home win over Vancouver, only to miss out on a fourth straight victory as they were beaten 5-2 in Los Angeles.

The Golden Knights issued an immediate response at home though, as they downed Chicago 7-5 and New Jersey 2-0.
