The Lightning have not lost since though, following up a shootout success against Anaheim with a 5-1 win over Detroit.

Toronto also come into this game on the back of a couple of wins, having rebounded from a three-game skid earlier this month.
The Maple Leafs wrapped up 2024 with a 3-1 win over the New York Islanders, and that proved to be the start of a five-game win streak.
They then beat the Islanders 2-1 on the road and Boston 6-4 at home, before recording back-to-back 3-2 wins over Philadelphia.
Toronto’s run was halted by a 6-3 defeat in Carolina, and they then returned home to lose 3-0 to Vancouver and 4-1 to Dallas.
The Maple Leafs rallied at the end of the week however, beating New Jersey 4-3 in overtime at home and Montreal 7-3 on the road.
