Tampa Bay Lightning Form

Tampa Bay go into the final game of this road trip looking to rebound from back-to-back defeats that have dropped them to 7-5.

The Lightning opened the season with a three-game win streak, but cooled off as they then lost three of the next four.

They steadied the ship at home, backing up a 3-0 victory over Washington with a 3-2 overtime win against Nashville.

Tampa Bay then made it three-in-a-row when they went out on the road to win 5-2 in Colorado, but they have not won since.

The Lightning’s three-game run was ended by a 5-3 defeat at Minnesota, and they then moved on to Winnipeg to lose 7-4 to the Jets.

St Louis Blues Form

St Louis enter this matchup looking to build on a weekend win that ended a three-game skid and improved their record to 6-6.

The Blues kicked off the season by winning four of their first six games, but their form has dipped since then.

They ended a run of four home games with a 3-2 defeat to Winnipeg, only to start a four-game road trip with a 5-1 victory in Toronto.

St Louis failed to build on that win however, as they were beaten 5-2 in Montreal, 8-1 in Ottawa and 2-1 in Philadelphia.

The Blues avoided a fourth straight defeat though, as they returned home to beat Toronto 4-2 on Saturday.
