Tampa Bay Lightning Form

Tampa Bay head out on the road looking to build on back-to-back victories that have seemingly got them back on track.

The Lightning ended February on a seven-game win streak and took it to eight games by winning their first game in March.

That run was ended by a 2-1 loss at Florida, but they rebounded quickly as they returned home to beat Columbus 6-2 and Buffalo 6-5.

Tampa Bay cooled off after that though, as they followed up a 4-0 home defeat to Boston with road losses to Carolina, 4-1, and Philadelphia, 4-3.

The Lightning avoided a fourth straight loss however, beating Boston 4-3 to end that road trip, and they then ran out 2-0 winners when they hosted Philadelphia.

Dallas Stars Form

Dallas enter this matchup looking to win back-to-back games and develop some momentum after a recent dip in form.

The Stars enjoyed a four-game win streak earlier this month, but have mot managed to string together wins over the past couple of weeks.

Their four-game run was ended by a 5-4 loss in Edmonton, and they then failed to follow up a 4-1 victory in Vancouver.

Dallas were beaten 4-1 in Winnipeg, before heading to Colorado for a 4-3 overtime defeat at the hands of the Avalanche.

The Stars did not lose three-in-a-row though, as they headed back home to down Anaheim, 4-3 in overtime.
