Seattle Kraken at Toronto Maple Leafs Preview & Picks

Can Toronto follow up Tuesday night’s win in Montreal?

Check back here on Thursday morning for our free Seattle Kraken at Toronto Maple Leafs tips.

Head To Head

  • Toronto Maple Leafs lead the all-time series 5-1
  • Toronto Maple Leafs won 3-1 when the two teams last met on January 21

Seattle Kraken Form

Seattle head to Toronto aiming to back up a victory in Montreal that took their record to 5-4-1.

The Kraken lost two of their first three games of the season, but found some form as they reeled off three straight wins in the middle of the month.

They beat Nashville 7-3 on the road, before heading home to beat Philadelphia 6-4 in regulation and Calgary 2-1 in overtime.

Seattle’s run was halted by a 3-2 defeat to Colorado, and they then lost 4-3 in overtime to Winnipeg and 4-1 to Carolina in regulation.

The Kraken snapped that three-game skid on the road though, as they beat the Canadiens 8-2 in Montreal.

Toronto Maple Leafs Form

Toronto go into this game looking to build on a victory in Winnipeg that improved their record to 5-4-1.

The Maple Leafs opened the season with a 1-0 defeat in Montreal, but rebounded quickly to win three straight games.

That run was ended by a 4-1 defeat to the New York Rangers, and although they responded by beating Tampa Bay 5-2, they failed to build on it.

Toronto were beaten 6-2 in Columbus, and that proved to be the start of a three-game skid as they were beaten 5-1 at home by St Louis and 4-1 in overtime in Boston.

The Maple Leafs did avoid a fourth straight defeat however, as they travelled to Winnipeg to beat the Jets 6-4.
