New Jersey head to Winnipeg looking to build on the victory in Chicago that ended a three-game losing skid.
The Devils won three straight earlier this month, backing up a 3-1 win in Philadelphia with a 5-3 victory over Columbus and a 3-2 success against Edmonton at home.
That run was ended by a 7-3 loss in Pittsburgh, and although they rebounded to win 2-1 in Columbus, they struggled to get back on track.
New Jersey lost their next three games at home, falling 5-3 to Calgary, 3-2 to Ottawa and 4-3 at the hands of Vancouver.
The Devils did stop the rot on Wednesday night though, as they took down the Blackhawks in Chicago, 5-3.
Winnipeg Jets Form
Winnipeg enter on an inconsistent run over the past several days, winning two and losing two in their last four games.
The Jets last strung together wins between March 11-17, as they backed up a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers with a 4-1 win against Dallas and a 3-2 overtime success in Seattle.
They failed to make it four-in-a-row as they were blown out 6-2 in Vancouver, and that proved to be the start of this inconsistent run.
Winnipeg beat Edmonton 4-3 in overtime in their next outing, only to then suffer a 5-3 defeat when they returned home to face Buffalo.
The Jets did issue an immediate response though, as they edged Washington in overtime on Tuesday, 3-2.
Verdict
Winnipeg have dropped a couple of games recently, but they remain the team to back when playing on the home ice.
They have won 11 of their last 14 at home and we are backing them to make it 12 from 15 here.
