Head To Head

  • Dallas Stars lead the all-time series 64-48-13
  • Dallas Stars won 4-2 when the two teams last met on February 22

New Jersey Devils Form

New Jersey head to Dallas on the back of a defeat and in inconsistent form, having gone 5-6 in their last 11 games.

The Devils have not strung together wins since late January when they beat Boston 5-1 and Montreal 4-3 in overtime.

They then split back-to-back meetings with Philadelphia, before sandwiching a shootout victory over Pittsburgh with a 4-3 loss in Buffalo and a 3-1 defeat at home to Vegas.

New Jersey then failed to build on a 4-0 win in Montreal as they lost 4-2 at home to Dallas, and following that they beat Nashville 5-0 only to then lose 5-1 in Colorado.

The Devils responded to that loss by winning 3-1 in Utah, but they again failed to follow up a victory as they were beaten 2-0 in Vegas.

Dallas Stars Form

Dallas go into this matchup on a solid run of form, having now won five of their last six games.

The Stars enjoyed a six-game win streak between late January and early February that was finally ended by a 2-1 defeat in Anaheim.

They then lost via a shootout in Los Angeles before rallying with three consecutive victories on the road, starting with an 8-3 victory in San Jose.

Dallas then won 4-2 in New Jersey and 4-3 at the New York Islanders before seeing their three-game run end via a 6-4 loss in Columbus.

The Stars rebounded at home though, as they backed up a 6-2 victory over Los Angeles with a 6-4 success against St Louis.
