Head To Head

  • Florida Panthers lead the all-time series 26-21-5

Florida Panthers Form

Florida headed to Finland on a good run of form, having won six of their last eight games and each of the last three to improve to 7-3-1.

The Panthers enjoyed a winning start to the season, but quickly fell below .500 with back-to-back defeats.

Their response was strong though, as they sparked this good run with 4-3 road wins over both Boston and Columbus.

Florida then bounced back from a 3-2 overtime defeat to Vancouver with a 4-3 overtime win over Vegas, before replying to a 5-1 loss to Minnesota with three straight wins.

The Panthers started this road trip with a 3-1 win at New York Rangers, before downing the New York Islanders 6-3 and Buffalo 5-2.

Dallas Stars Form

Dallas travel to Europe as one of the NHL’s most in-form teams through the first few weeks, winning seven of their first nine games.

The Stars opened the season with a four-game win streak that saw them beat Nashville 4-3 on the road, before heading home to down the New York Islanders 3-0, Seattle 2-0 and San Jose 3-2 (SO).

Their perfect start was ended by a 3-2 defeat in Washington, but they responded immediately to beat Edmonton 4-1 at home.

Dallas failed to back that up as they lost the next game, 4-2 in Buffalo, although they again bounced back from a loss at the first attempt.

The Stars ran out 5-2 winners when they visited Boston, before returning home to beat Chicago 4-2.
