The Panthers avoided a third consecutive defeat however, as they shut out Winnipeg in a 5-0 home win on Saturday.

Winnipeg return home looking to bounce back from a couple of defeats that have dropped their record to 15-3.
The Jets raced out of the blocks with an eight-game win streak, and then responded to their first defeat with seven-game winning run.
They recorded 6-2 road wins over Detroit and Columbus, before returning home to beat Tampa Bay 7-4, Utah 3-0, Colorado 4-0 and Dallas 4-1.
Winnipeg then began a three-game road trip with a 6-3 victory over the New York Rangers, only to see their streak then end with a 4-1 defeat at Tampa Bay.
The Jets then moved on to face Florida on Saturday night, suffering a 5-0 defeat at the hands of the Panthers.
Verdict
Winnipeg go into this on the back of a couple of heavy defeats, but we expect a response.
The Jets have been flying high at home this season so we are backing them to get back on track.
