Florida go into their final regular season game of the season looking to rebound from their sixth defeat in their last nine games.
The Panthers ended March with a 4-2 home defeat to Montreal, and that proved to be the start of a five-game losing skid.
They then lost 3-2 in overtime at the Canadiens, before falling 3-2 in Toronto, 3-0 at Ottawa and 2-1 in Detroit.
Florida rebounded at home though, backing up a 3-1 victory over Toronto with a 4-1 win against Detroit and a 3-2 shootout success against Buffalo.
The Panthers failed to make it four-in-a-row however, as they were beaten 5-3 at home by the New York Rangers.
Tampa Bay Lightning Form
Tampa Bay enter their penultimate game of the regular season looking to back up only their second victory in their last six outings.
The Lightning ended March on a three-game win streak, and made it four-in-a-row with a 4-1 victory at the New York Islanders in their April opener.
They cooled off after that though, starting with a 2-1 defeat in Ottawa followed by a 3-2 shootout loss in Buffalo.
Tampa Bay then failed to build on a 5-1 victory at the New York Rangers as they lost back-to-back home games in overtime, 4-3 to Toronto and 4-3 to Detroit.
The Lightning avoided a third straight loss though, as they ended last week with a 7-4 win over Buffalo.

Florida’s recent record against Tampa Bay is strong, but we like the Lightning in this one.
