Edmonton Oilers Form
Edmonton head out on the road looking to build on the weekend win over Calgary and win back-to-back games for the first time in a couple of weeks.
The Oilers enjoyed a three-game win streak during the middle of March, backing up road wins against the two New York teams with a 7-1 home blowout of Utah.
They failed to make it four-in-a-row as they lost 4-3 in overtime to Winnipeg, only to rebound with a 5-4 success against Seattle.
Edmonton dropped the next two though, as they were beaten 4-3 at home by Dallas and 6-1 on the road in Seattle.
The Oilers bounced back on Saturday however, beating Calgary 3-2 in overtime at home.
Vegas Golden Knights Form
Vegas return home on the back of a successful road trip that took their current win streak to six games.
The Golden Knights have not lost since back-to-back road defeats in the middle of March, when the lost 4-3 to Buffalo and 3-0 to Detroit.
They rebounded at home though, rattling in a bunch of goals as they won three consecutive games.
Vegas blew out Boston, 5-1, to get back on track, and followed that up with a 6-3 victory over Detroit and a 4-2 success against Tampa Bay.
The Golden Knights then took their win streak to six games with three more victories on the road, beating Minnesota 5-1, Chicago 5-3 and Nashville 3-1.
Verdict
Vegas have been on a roll over the past couple of weeks and do their best work on the home ice.
They are also winning consistently in regulation time too, so we are backing the Golden Knights to deliver here.
