Edmonton Oilers at Vegas Golden Knights Preview & Picks

Can Vegas beat Edmonton for the second time this season?

Check back here on Tuesday morning for our free Edmonton Oilers at Vegas Golden Knights tips.

Head To Head

  • Edmonton Oilers lead the all-time series 15-12-2
  • Vegas Golden Knights won 4-2 when the two teams last met on November 6

Edmonton Oilers Form

Edmonton head to Vegas riding a three-game win streak and having won seven of their previous 10 games.

The Oilers began this sequence as they rebounded from a 4-2 defeat to Vegas with a 7-3 victory in Vancouver.

They then won back-to-back overtime games at home, against the New York Islanders and Nashville, before heading out on the road for an overtime loss to Toronto.

Edmonton then fell 3-0 in Montreal, before failing to build on a 5-2 victory in Ottawa as they lost 5-3 at home to Minnesota.

The Oilers have not lost since though, backing up a 6-2 home win against the New York Rangers with road wins over Utah, 4-3 in overtime, and Colorado, 4-1 in regulation.

Vegas Golden Knights Form

Vegas go into this matchup looking to rebound from a shutout loss at home – their second defeat in their last three games.

The Golden Knights started the second half of November with back-to-back defeats, losing 5-2 at home to Washington and 3-0 on the road in Toronto.

They bounced back during that road trip though, as they won 3-2 in Ottawa, 6-2 at Montreal and via a shootout in Philadelphia.

Vegas wrapped up that road trip with a shootout loss, falling to defeat in Colorado, only to start this run of home games with a 4-3 success against Winnipeg.

The Golden Knights failed to follow that up though, as they were beaten 6-0 by Utah on Saturday.
