Dallas Stars at Winnipeg Jets Preview & Picks

Can Winnipeg down Dallas in battle of Central Division’s top two?

Check back here on Friday morning for our free Dallas Stars at Winnipeg Jets tips.

Head To Head

  • Dallas Stars lead the all-time series 33-20-5
  • Dallas Stars won 3-1 when the two teams last met on December 1

Dallas Stars Form

Dallas move on to Winnipeg on a solid run of form, having now won eight of their previous 10 games.

The Stars began this sequence on the road as they beat San Jose 8-3, New Jersey 4-2 and the New York Islanders 4-3.

That trip ended with a 6-4 loss to Columbus, but they issued a strong response in the form of four consecutive victories.

Dallas blew out Los Angeles, 6-2, before downing St Louis 6-3, New Jersey 4-3 and Calgary 3-2 in overtime.

The Stars’ run was ended by a 5-4 defeat in Edmonton, although they again immediately rebounded from a loss, this time winning 4-1 in Vancouver.

Winnipeg Jets Form

Winnipeg enter this matchup on an improved run of form, having bounced back from a three-game skid with three wins in their last four games.

The Jets enjoyed an 11-game win streak in February, but ended the month with a 2-1 loss at Nashville and failed to bounce back quickly.

They then returned home for a shootout loss to Philadelphia, before heading to New York for a 3-2 loss to the Islanders.

Winnipeg got back to winning ways on the road though, as they followed up a 4-1 win in Philadelphia with a 6-1 blowout of New Jersey.

The Jets then responded to a 4-2 defeat in Carolina with a 2-1 win at home to the New York Rangers.
