Colorado Avalanche Form

Colorado head to Canada on a good run of form, having won eight of their previous nine games.

The Avalanche dropped back-to-back games following the mid-season break, but got back on track with a 5-1 win over New Jersey.

That proved to be the start of a six-game tear at home that saw them also beat Minnesota 5-2, Pittsburgh 4-1, San Jose 7-3, Toronto 7-4 and Chicago 3-0.

Colorado’s streak was halted when they went out on the road to lose via a shootout at Minnesota, but they have rebounding quickly,

The Avalanche won 4-2 in Calgary, before heading home briefly to down Dallas in overtime, 4-3.

Toronto Maple Leafs Form

Toronto go into the final game of this run at home looking to win back-to-back games for the first time in a couple of weeks.

The Maple Leafs enjoyed a five-game win streak between late February and the start of March, but their form cooled off after a shootout loss to San Jose.

They then lost 5-2 in Vegas and 7-4 in Colorado, before wrapping up that road trip with a shootout win in Utah.

Toronto failed to build on that victory when they returned home, losing 3-2 to Florida and 4-2 to Ottawa.

The Maple Leafs did, however, avoid three straight defeats, as they downed Calgary on Monday night, 6-2.
