The Bruins endured a rough run in late October as they lost five of their final six games that month, but their form in November has improved.
They began the month with back-to-back victories, winning 3-0 in Philadelphia before heading home to down Seattle 2-0.
Boston failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 4-0 in Toronto, but they did rebound immediately to down Calgary in overtime at home, 4-3.
The Bruins then responded to a 3-2 overtime loss to Ottawa when they began this two-game road trip with a 3-2 win in St Louis.
Dallas Stars Form
Dallas return home looking to back up a blowout win in Pittsburgh that took their record to 9-5.
The Stars raced out of the blocks with four straight wins and at the end of October they boasted a strong 7-2 record.
They made a rough start to November however, as they lost back-to-back meetings with Florida in Finland, 6-4 and 4-2.
Dallas got back to winning ways when they returned to the United States, beating Chicago 3-1 at home, only to then lose 4-1 when they headed to Winnipeg.
The Stars delivered a quick response to that defeat though, as they moved on to Pittsburgh to beat the Penguins 7-1.
Verdict
Dallas have had a rough time against Boston in recent years, but that could all change here.
The Stars have been in good form at home so far, while the Bruins have dropped a bunch of games on the road.
