A 20-6 home defeat to Detroit sparked a four-game losing skid that also saw them lose 16-13 at home to Atlanta.
Tampa Bay then went out on the road and were beaten 24-18 in Buffalo, before heading to Houston to lose 39-37.
The Buccaneers finally ended that losing sequence in Week 10 though, returning home to beat Tennessee 20-6.

The 49ers raced out of the blocks, winning each of their first five games of the regular season to take control of the NFC West.
They wobbled in the second half of October though, losing three consecutive games starting with a 19-17 defeat in Cleveland.
San Francisco then suffered a 22-17 defeat at Minnesota, before returning home for a disappointing 31-17 home loss to Cincinnati.
The 49ers steadied the ship last weekend though, producing a dominant defensive display as they blew out Jacksonville, 34-3, on the road.

San Francisco got back to their best a week ago, and that is bad news for Tampa.
