Their return to action ended in a 22-16 win at home to the Los Angeles Chargers, and they then downed Arizona 38-10 on the road.
San Francisco made it four-in-a-row with a 13-0 shutout of New Orleans a week later, and although they registered an impressive win last time out, it came at a price.
The 49ers, who were already without Trey Lance, lost Jimmy Garoppolo to a season-ending injury.
That did not knock them off their stride though, as QB Brock Purdy led them to a 33-17 win against Miami.
