New York make the long trip to Germany looking to snap a four-game losing skid that has left them with a 2-7 record.
The Giants opened the season with back-to-back defeats, losing 28-6 to Minnesota and 21-18 at Washington.
They got off the mark in Week 3 with a 21-15 victory in Cleveland, and then bounced back from a 20-15 loss to Dallas with a 29-20 win at Seattle.
New York have not won since though, starting a four-game losing run as they were beaten 17-7 at home by Cincinnati.
The Giants then sandwiched a 26-18 home defeat in Pittsburgh with home losses at the hands of Philadelphia, 28-3, and Washington, 27-22.
Carolina Panthers Form
Carolina travel to Germany aiming to build on the weekend win over New Orleans that improved their record to 2-7.
The Panthers kicked off the campaign with back-to-back losses, losing 47-10 in New Orleans before suffering a 26-3 defeat at home to the Los Angeles Chargers.
They got their first win in Week 3 as they beat Las Vegas 36-22 on the road, but they failed to back that up as a 34-24 defeat to Cincinnati sparked a five-game skid.
Carolina lost 36-10 in Chicago and 38-20 at home to Atlanta, before heading out on the road to lose 40-7 at Washington and 28-14 in Denver.
The Panthers finally stopped that skid last weekend though, as they avenged their season-opening loss to the Saints with a 23-22 victory.
Verdict
Carolina may have got a win last weekend, but New Orleans ill-discipline was a huge help.
As long as the Giants can keep penalties to a minimum and lean on their run game, they have a great chance of leaving Germany with the ‘W’.
