Los Angeles head to New York looking to build on a blowout of Chicago that improved them to 3-4.
The Chargers made a losing start to the season as they were beaten 36-34 at home by Miami, and they then lost their road opener in Tennessee, 27-24 in overtime.
They rallied in Week 3 with a 28-24 victory at Minnesota, and then followed that up with a 24-17 win against Las Vegas.
Los Angeles’ run was halted by a 20-17 defeat to Dallas, and that become two losses in a row when they were beaten 31-17 in Kansas City.
The Chargers returned to winning ways last weekend though, easing to a 30-13 victory over Chicago.
New York Jets Form
New York are riding a three-game win streak into Monday Night Football – a run that has improved them to 4-3.
The Jets lost Aaron Rodgers minutes into their season opener but overcame that to upset Buffalo in overtime, 22-16.
They failed to build on that though, as they lost 30-10 in Dallas before losing 15-10 to New England and 23-20 to Kansas City at home.
New York ended that three-game skid with a 31-21 win in Denver, and backed up that success with a shock 20-14 win over Philadelphia.
The Jets then made it three-in-a-row last weekend as they beat the Giants in an all-New York affair, 13-10 in overtime.
Verdict
Los Angeles benefited from Chicago’s non-existent pass rush last weekend, but they will not be so lucky here.
