Vegas were able to stop the rot though, beating Denver 22-17 in overtime in Week 11, and they have been able to build on that.
The Raiders won another overtime game a week later as they edge Seattle in a shootout on the road, 40-34.
They then improved to 5-7 for the season with a 27-20 victory over AFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers, last weekend.

Los Angeles are simply playing out their schedule in a disappoint defence of their Super Bowl crown.
Last season’s world champions have now lost six consecutive games to fall to 3-9, taking them out of the playoff hunt.
The Rams went into their bye week with a 3-3 record thanks to a win against Carolina, but they have not won since.
Their slide started with a 31-14 home defeat to Dallas that was followed up by a 16-13 loss at Tampa Bay.
Los Angeles then fell to home to Arizona, 27-17, before heading out on the road to lose 27-20 at New Orleans and 26-10 in Kansas City.
The Rams’ slump then continued last Sunday as they were beaten 27-23 at home by Seattle.
