The Texans dropped their first two games of the season, but they steadied the ship by winning three of their next five games.
They then put themselves right in the mix to win the division with a three-game win streak in November that saw them beat Tampa Bay 39-37 and Arizona 21-16 either side of a 30-27 win in Cincinnati.
Houston have struggled for consistency since then though, with an injury to CJ Stroud playing a major role.
The Texans did win 26-3 against Tennessee last weekend though, taking them to 9-7 heading into their regular season finale.
Indianapolis Colts Form
Indianapolis have won six of their last eight games to improve to 9-7 and give themselves a shot at winning the AFC South.
The Colts made a solid start by winning three of their first five games, but their form dipped with a three-game losing skid in October.
They rebounded in November though, sparking a four-game win streak with a 27-13 win in Carolina.
Indianapolis then beat New England 10-6 in New England, before returning to the US to down Tampa Bay 27-20 and Tennessee 31-28 in overtime.
The Colts failed to keep that running, but last weekend’s 23-20 win over Las Vegas has them on the brink of a division title.
