Houston enter this game on the back of their third straight victory – their most impressive of the season.
The Texans rebounded from a 0-2 start to the season to put themselves firmly in the mix to win the AFC South.
Their chances suffered a few hits late in the season as they lost CJ Stroud to injury and dropped a couple of games.
However, Houston closed out the regular season with huge wins over division rivals Tennessee, 26-3, and Indianapolis, 23-19, and that was enough to clinch the AFC South crown.
The Texans then produced a sensational display last weekend, blowing out Cleveland 45-14 in the Wildcard round of the playoffs.
Baltimore Ravens Form
Baltimore return to action after a first-round bye that was earned thanks to a 13-4 regular season record.
The Ravens dropped a couple of game early in the season, but playoff football was never in doubt as they won 10 times in 11 games between the middle of October and the end of December.
They produced some dominant home performances along the way, blasting Detroit 38-6 and smashing Seattle 37-3.
Baltimore’s most impressive wins came over the festive period though, as they downed San Francisco 33-19 on the road on Christmas Day, before destroying Miami, 56-19, a week later.
That allowed the Ravens to rest their key starters for the regular season finale – a 17-10 defeat to Pittsburgh.
Verdict
Baltimore sent a message to the rest of the NFL with the way they blew out the 49ers and Dolphins.
They are now backed to send another at the expense of CJ Stroud and the Texans, who have done great this season but are not yet on the Ravens’ level.
