The Packers opened up the season with a 38-20 victory at long-time rivals Chicago, but won just one of their next six games.
That sequence included a four-game losing skid that started with a 34-20 defeat when they hosted Detroit on Thursday Night Football.
Green Bay halted that slide with a 20-3 victory at home to the Los Angeles Rams, only to then lose 23-19 on the road in Pittsburgh.
The Packers rebounded on Sunday night though, edging the Los Angeles 23-20 in a must-win meeting a Lambeau Field.
Detroit Lions Form
Detroit are firmly on course for a first NFC North title and the playoffs, having improved to 8-2 last weekend.
The Lions have had a couple of bad losses along the way, but they have enjoyed a four-game win streak this season and are on the brink of another.
They started this latest run by bouncing back from a 38-6 loss in Baltimore with a 26-14 victory against Las Vegas.
Detroit then won a wild shootout in Los Angeles, beating the Chargers 41-38, before registering another wild win last weekend.
The Lions looked to be dead and buried when they trailed by 12 points at home to Chicago in the final few minutes, but they came storming back to win 31-26.
Verdict
Detroit had a bit of a scare against Chicago, but we expect ‘business as usual’ here.
