Dallas head to the ‘Big Apple’ on a short week looking to get back on track after a couple of home defeats.
The Cowboys entered the season as a leading contender to go all the way and lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
However, they have so far failed to live up to pre-season expectations, losing two of their first three games of the campaign.
Dallas opened up on the road and came away from Cleveland with a 33-17 victory, but they failed to back that up in their next two games at home.
The Cowboys were blown out on their own turf by New Orleans, 44-19, and then saw a fourth-quarter fightback come up short as they were beaten 28-25 by Baltimore.
New York Giants Form
While Dallas have lost their last two, New York enter this matchup having got their first win last time out.
Little was expected of the Giants coming into the new season, so it was no surprise when they dropped their first two games.
They kicked things off at home to Minnesota and managed just two field goals as they were beaten 28-6 by the Vikings.
New York then went out on the road for a big divisional clash with Washington, and despite not giving up a touchdown they were beaten 21-18 by the Commanders.
The Giants were able to avoid a 0-3 start though, as they travelled to Cleveland to knock off the Browns, 21-15, last weekend.
Verdict
Dallas have slumped to a couple of disappointing defeats, but this could be great timing for them.
The Cowboys and Dak Prescott have dominated the Giants in recent years, so we expect to see a response to those home defeats.
