They then beat UCLA 27-11, before heading out on the road to take down USC and Wisconsin in 33-30 and 28-13 wins respectively.
Penn State’s unbeaten run was finally ended by a 20-13 defeat when they hosted Ohio State for a huge Big Ten clash, but they have responded well to that loss.
The Nittany Lions got back to winning ways with a 35-6 blowout of Washington, and then recorded a 49-10 victory when they visited Purdue.

Minnesota go into their final home game of the regular season having seen their four-game win streak end with a road defeat last time out.
The Golden Gophers rebounded from an opening-day loss to go into their Big Ten schedule with a 2-1 record, but they soon fell below .500.
They were beaten 31-14 at home by Iowa and 27-24 on the road at Michigan, before finally getting off the mark with a 24-17 upset of USC at home.
Minnesota then backed that up by beating UCLA 21-17 and Maryland 48-23, and made it four in a row when the upset Illinois on the road, 25-17.
The Golden Gophers failed to make it five-in-a-row however, as they were beaten 26-19 at Rutgers last time out.
