TCU have enjoyed a remarkable season but come into this having come up short in the Big 12 Championship Game.
The Horned Frogs started the season unranked but quickly made an impression as they followed up three non-conference wins with a huge victory in their conference opener.
They beat #18 Oklahoma 55-24 and over the next three weeks they beat more ranked opponents.
TCU won 38-31 at #19 Kansas and then backed that up with a 43-40 win against #8 Oklahoma State and a 38-28 victory over #17 Kansas State at home.
The Horned Frogs kept the wins coming as they beat West Virginia 41-31 and Texas Tech 34-24.
They then made it 5-0 against ranked opponents by beating #18 Texas on the road, 17-10.
TCU’s perfect regular season concluded as they won 29-28 at Baylor before recording a 62-14 home blowout of Iowa State.
However, they finally suffered their first defeat of the season in the Big 12 Championship, dropping a heart-breaker to #13 Kansas State, 31-28.
