The Wildcats opened the season with a 31-0 shutout win over Southern Mississippi, only to then lose 31-6 to South Carolina.
They earned plaudits for a 13-12 loss to then #1-ranked Georgia, and then got back to winning ways as they beat Ohio 41-6 before upsetting top-10 Ole Miss on the road, 20-17.
Kentucky failed to follow that up though as they lost the next four, losing 20-13 to Vanderbilt, 48-20 at Florida, 24-10 to Auburn and 28-18 at Tennessee.
The Wildcats avoided a fifth straight loss however, as they blew out Murray State, 48-6, last weekend.

Texas enter this game having rebounded from the loss to Georgia with three consecutive wins to reach 9-1.
The Longhorns raced out of the blocks with a string of convincing non-conference wins, including a 31-12 victory at defending national champions Michigan.
They then began their SEC campaign with a 35-13 win over Mississippi State, before easing to a 34-3 victory over Oklahoma.
Texas’ perfect start was finally ended in the middle of October as they were beaten 30-15 at home by Georgia, but they have not lost since that night.
The Longhorns rebounded with a 27-24 win at Vanderbilt, before beating Florida 49-17 at home and Arkansas 21-10 on the road.
Verdict
Texas have struggled to maintain their early-season dominance of the opposition, but they have been a reliable spread bet at home.
