The Hoosiers opened the season with a couple of non-conference wins, before taking down UCLA, 42-13 in their conference opener.
They followed up that victory as they went on to win their first seven Big Ten games, surging into the top 10 in early November as they beat Michigan State 47-10 and Michigan 20-15.
That set up a huge meeting with Ohio State, but Indiana were unable to maintain their perfect record as they lost 38-15, costing them a trip to the conference championship.
The Hoosiers did bounce back in their regular season finale though, shutting out Purdue in a 66-0 victory.

Notre Dame enter the College Football Playoffs having bounced back from a shock defeat in September with 10 straight victories to finish 11-1.
The Fighting Irish opened with a 23-13 victory at Texas A&M, only to suffer a sensational 16-14 defeat when they hosted Northern Illinois in their home opener.
Their response was emphatic though, as they beat Purdue 66-7 to spark a run of 10 consecutive wins that included successes against three ranked teams.
Notre Dame beat Louisville 31-24 at home, before downing both Navy and Army on neutral sites, 51-14 and 49-14 respectively.
The Fighting Irish then wrapped up their regular season campaign with a 49-35 win at USC, ensuring they would make the first ever 12-team playoffs.
Verdict
This should be a great matchup between two good teams, and we give the edge to Notre Dame.
