They responded to that loss by closing out the regular season with an eight-game win streak, and they kept that run going to claim the conference title.
Duke beat Georgia Tech 78-70 and North Carolina 74-71 to book their place in the ACC final, where they beat Louisville 73-62.
The Blue Devils then took their run to 13 games as they advanced to the Sweet 16 by beating Mount St Mary’s 93-49 and Baylor 89-66.
Arizona Form
Arizona go into this game having bounced back from the defeat in the final of the conference tournament with back-to-back wins.
The Wildcats went into the Big 12 tournament in poor form, having lost five of their final eight regular season games.
They rallied in the conference competition though, as they progressed to the final thanks to an 88-77 win over Kansas and an 86-80 success against Texas Tech.
Arizona fell at the final hurdle though, as they suffered a 72-64 defeat at the hands of Houston.
The Wildcats have, however, rebounded at the national tournament, following up a 93-65 blowout of Akron with an 87-83 victory over Oregon.

Duke are favorites to go all the way in the tournament and they have so far lived up to their billing.
