They beat Georgia Tech 78-70 and North Carolina 74-71 to make the final, where they beat Louisville 73-62.
Duke then dominated in the first two rounds of the national tournament as they blew out Mount St Mary’s 93-49 and Baylor 89-66.
The Blue Devils then hit the 100-point mark for the fifth time this season as they downed Arizona in the Sweet 16, 100-93.

Alabama have bounced back from their SEC disappointment to make it to the Elite Eight of the national tournament.
The Crimson Tide spluttered late in the regular season as they lost four of their final seven games, sending them into the conference tournament in inconsistent form.
They successfully negotiated their first outing, beating Kentucky 99-70, only to suffer a 104-82 blowout defeat at the hands of Florida in the next round.
Alabama put that behind them in the first three rounds of March Madness, starting with a 90-81 victory over Robert Morris.
The Crimson Tide then beat Saint Mary’s CA 80-66, before erupting offensively to beat BYU 113-88 in the Sweet 16.

Duke have the offense to outsprint Alabama and the defense to make big stops.
