Washington Wizards at Los Angeles Lakers Preview & Picks

Can Los Angeles rebound from the defeat to the Clippers?

Check back here on Tuesday morning for our free Washington Wizards at Los Angeles Lakers tips.

Head To Head

  • Los Angeles Lakers lead the all-time series 129-79
  • Los Angeles Lakers won 125-120 when the two teams last met in April 2024

Washington Wizards Form

Washington head to Los Angeles on a terrible run of form, having now lost each of their last 10 games.

The Wizards’ last win came on New Year’s Day when they beat Chicago 125-107, which was immediately followed by back-to-back defeats to New Orleans, 132-120 and 110-98.

They then lost 135-112 at home to Houston, before heading out on the road to lose 109-103 in Philadelphia and 138-105 at Chicago.

Washington’s losing run continued when they returned home for defeats to Oklahoma City, 136-95, Minnesota, 120-106, and Phoenix, 130-123.

The Wizards then saw their skid reach 10 games as they went out on the road to lose 122-114 at Golden State and 123-100 in Sacramento.

Los Angeles Lakers Form

Los Angeles go into this game looking to rebound from their fourth defeat in their last six games.

The Lakers enjoyed a winning start to 2025 as they recorded back-to-back victories, beating Portland 114-106 and Atlanta 119-102.

They failed to keep that run going as they then went out on the road to lose 119-115 in Houston and 118-97 at Dallas.

Los Angeles then fell 126-102 at home to San Antonio, before rallying to beat Miami 117-108 and Brooklyn 102-101.

The Lakers failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they were beaten 116-106 at the LA Clippers last weekend.
