The Wizards won back-to-back road games in the middle of March, but failed to build on that as they then lost five consecutive games.
They ended that skid with a 119-114 victory in Philadelphia, only to then lose their next three games at home as they fell 162-109 to Indiana, 115-112 to Brooklyn and 120-94 to Miami.
Washington rallied with a 116-111 in over Sacramento, but they again failed to build on a win as they lost four straight.
The Wizards lost 109-97 at home to Orlando, 124-90 in Boston, 104-98 at Indiana and 122-103 at home to Philadelphia.
Chicago Bulls Form
Chicago enter this matchup having rebounded from the loss to Cleveland with their eight win in their last 11 games.
The Bulls matched their season-best run with four straight victories in late March, beating Sacramento 127-116, the Los Angeles Lakers 146-115 and Denver 129-119 on the road, before heading home to down the Lakers 119-117.
Their run was ended by a 120-119 home defeat to Dallas, and they failed to rebound immediately as they then lost 145-117 at Oklahoma City.
Chicago bounced back at home though, beating Toronto 137-118 and Portland 118-113, and then travelled to Charlotte to down the Hornets, 131-117.
The Bulls missed out on a fourth straight win as they lost 135-113 in Cleveland, but they did respond quickly to that defeat, beating Miami 119-111.
Verdict
Chicago are the team in better form and the team still playing for something this season.
The number is big, but this is a rare occassion where we have confidence in the Bulls covering the spread.
