San Antonio Spurs Form
San Antonio go into their second straight meeting with the Suns in Phoenix with a 2-2 record.
The Spurs were handed a tough assignment on opening night as they host Dallas, and they fell to a 126-119 defeat.
They rebounded 48 hours later with a 126-122 overtime win against Houston, but they failed to follow that up in their first road game of the season.
San Antonio travelled to Los Angeles and failed to lay a glove on the Clippers as they suffered a 123-83 blowout loss.
The Spurs once again responded well to a loss though, upsetting Phoenix in a 115-114 road win on Tuesday night.
Phoenix Suns Form
Phoenix go into this matchup with a 2-2 record, having failed to string together victories through four games.
The Suns made a strong start to the 2023/24 season as they travelled to the Bay Area to beat Golden State 108-104.
However, they were unable to back that up when they moved on to Los Angeles, losing 100-95 to the Lakers.
Phoenix bounced back quickly from the loss, beating San Antonio 126-104 in their home opener, but they again failed to follow up a win.
The Suns hosted San Antonio for the first part of this double-header on Tuesday night, and they fell to a 115-114 defeat.
Verdict
The return of Devin Booker for tonight's game would be a massive boost for Phoenix, and if he is back in the line-up we expect a Suns cover.
