They failed to make it three wins in a row when the returned home to lose 111-104 to Charlotte, but they bounced back immediately, beating Orlando in double overtime, 138-135.
Sacramento followed that up with a 135-130 victory over Toronto, only to then suffer a 133-100 blowout loss to New Orleans.
The Kings responded immediately though, heading out on the road to win 131-110 in Detroit and 123-98 in Charlotte.
Philadelphia 76ers Form
Philadelphia come into this game on their worst run of the season, having lost three straight to fall to 23-13.
The 76ers enjoyed a six-game win streak in the second half of December, but closed out 2023 with a 105-92 defeat to Chicago.
They got their revenge a couple of nights later when they returned home to ease past the Bulls, 110-97, but their joy was short-lived.
Philadelphia quickly returned to losing ways as they were beaten at home by New York, 128-92, and Utah, 120-109.
The 76ers then went back out on the road this week and saw their losing skid reach three games as they were beaten 139-132 in overtime in Atlanta.
Verdict
Joel Embiid is out for Philadelphia, so I have no interest in backing them in this one.
The 76ers have a terrible record without him this season, while Sacramento have been stacking up road covers recently.
