Phoenix Suns at Miami Heat Picks & Betting Tips

Miami are backed to cover the spread against shorthanded Phoenix.

The Heat are in good form and are facing a Suns team who will be without Chris Paul again.

  • Phoenix Suns are 3-3 in their last 6 games
  • Phoenix Suns are 2-7-0 ATS in their last 9 games

  • Miami Heat won 123-100 when the teams last met on January 8

Phoenix Suns Form

Phoenix arrive on the back of a victory but they have been in mixed form in recent weeks, going 3-3.

They are expected to have Devin Booker back for this one, but Chris Paul is out and he has been a huge miss.

The Suns’ dip started with a 117-102 home defeat to New Orleans and continued with a 118-114 loss to Utah.

They were able to stop the rot by following up a 120-90 blowout of Portland with a 115-114 win over New York, but returned to losing ways with a 132-122 loss at Milwaukee.

Phoenix bounced back from that loss last night though, narrowly beating Orlando 102-99 on the road.

Deandre Ayton led the way for the Suns with 21 points and 19 rebounds in another strong performance.

Landry Shamet contributed 21 points, while Cameron Payne had 18 points and 12 rebounds in a double double.

Miami Heat Form

Miami go into this matchup having won 12 of their last 14 games and have now own three straight.

The Heat saw a four-game streak come to an end a week ago when they were narrowly beaten 120-119 in Milwaukee.

They rebounded 24 hours later though with a 113-107 win in Brooklyn, before returning home to beat Philadelphia.

Miami shut down the 76ers offensively in a 99-82 win to cement their position at the top of the East.

The Heat then made it three wins in a row on Monday night as they downed Houston, 123-106.

Tyler Herro led the team off the bench with 31 points, while Jimmy Butler had 21 points and seven rebounds.

Bam Adebayo (18 points & 10 rebounds) and PJ Tucker (11 points & 12 rebounds) had double doubles.
