Phoenix Suns Form

Phoenix are riding an eight-game win streak that has clinched the number one seeding in the West.

The Suns’ latest streak saw them follow up a home with against the Los Angeles Lakers with road wins in New Orleans and Houston.

They returned home to blow out Chicago before going back out on the road for a successful three-game roadtrip.

Phoenix won in Sacramento and Minnesota, and then clinched top spot in the West with a 140-130 win at Denver last Thursday night.

They celebrated that with a 114-104 win when they hosted Philadelphia on Sunday night.

Devin Booker led the way for Phoenix with 35 points, while Deandre Ayton had 14 points and 12 rebounds in a double double.

Chris Paul, in his second game since returning from injury, registered 19 points and 14 assists.

Golden State Warriors Form

Golden State are desperately trying to find some form as the postseason grows ever closer.

The Warriors have lost six of their last seven games and still need a couple more wins to avoid the play-in tournament.

They snapped a three-game skid last Wednesday night with a 118-104 upset of the Heat in Miami.

However, they were brought back to Earth by a 121-110 loss in Atlanta, before falling to a 123-115 defeat in Washington.

Golden State’s current slide then hit three games with the 123-95 blowout loss in Memphis on Monday.

The Warriors were once again without Stephen Curry, who is sidelined with a foot injury.

In his absence Jordan Poole led the team in scoring with 25 points in the loss to the Grizzlies, while Moses Moody had 17 off the bench.

Verdict

Golden State have been solid at home, but they are in bad form and are without their best player.

Phoenix are marching towards the postseason and are backed to stay hot here.

Spread – Phoenix -6.0 @ -110
Player Points – Devin Booker +28.5 @ -110
