Phoenix have made an underwhelming start to the season, but they do enter this game on the back of a win.
The Suns got off to a superb start as they were able to beat Golden State on the road, downing the Warriors 108-104.
They failed to back that up as they then lost 100-95 at the Los Angeles Lakers, but they did rebound immediately with a 126-104 blowout of Utah in their home opener.
Phoenix failed to build on that win however, as they lost back-to-back home games against San Antonio, 115-114 and 132-121, and they were then beaten 112-100 in Philadelphia.
The Suns did stop the rot over the weekend though, winning 120-106 in Detroit to improve their record to 3-4.
Chicago Bulls Form
Chicago go into this matchup on the back of a much-needed victory that improved their record to 3-5.
The Bulls slumped to a 124-104 home defeat to Oklahoma City, but did rally late in their second game to beat Toronto 104-103 in overtime.
They immediately returned to losing ways with a miserable 118-102 defeat in Detroit, only to once again issue an immediate response to a loss, winning 112-105 in Indiana.
Chicago’s joy was short-lived however, as they were beaten 114-105 in Dallas 109-107 at home by Brooklyn.
The Bulls’ slide then reached three games as they lost 123-101 in Denver, but they were able to end that losing sequence on Monday night as they beat Utah 130-113.
Verdict
Phoenix may be without two key players, but Chicago have made a nightmare start to the season and are there for the taking.
